Cody S. Weinberg
Cody is an associate attorney at McCurdy, Dean & Graditor, LLC. He represents both lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of loan transactions, including real estate secured acquisition, refinance, and construction loans; tenant fit-out loans; equipment and other asset secured loans; guidance lines of credit; and revolving loan facilities. Cody is experienced in the origination, modification, and negotiation of commercial loan documents of all kinds, including participation agreements, subordination agreements, landlord waivers, intercreditor agreements, and opinion letters, and has served as local Maryland counsel for lenders and borrowers alike.
Cody also provides legal counsel in a wide range of business and commercial real estate matters, including business planning, formation, and governance; contract negotiation; commercial leasing; easements; covenants; and the sale and purchase of real property.
Cody assists in the representation of commercial and residential real estate developers and builders in the development of residential subdivisions, commercial retail centers, corporate parks, and other projects throughout the region.
A Frederick native and fifth generation attorney in Frederick, Cody received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Randolph-Macon College in 2015. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 2018 from the University of Richmond School of Law. He is admitted to the State Bar of Maryland and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Frederick County.
Additionally, Cody is an active member of the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of both the Frederick Community College Foundation and the Maryland Ensemble Theatre and is a member of the Young Alumni Board of Randolph-Macon College. Cody and his wife, Rachel, are members of the Tivoli Society of the Weinberg Center for the Arts and the Order of the Good Samaritan of Frederick Health Hospital.
